Learn ways to go beyond the reference to develop your own artistic vision in this challenging, structured workshop suited to painters with some experience. The course will involve supported explorative exercises in changing the mood.

By harnessing the potential of a plein air study or photograph (produced during the workshop or brought from home) you will feel in greater control of the creative process, awake to the possibilities of making your work stand out from the crowd.

Studio-based (well it is March!) with optional plein air - in oils or acrylics. Studio easels and refreshments provided. Bring your own lunch - Kitchen facilities available. Bring your own usual painting materials (a suggested list will be sent on booking)
